The book consists of photographs of Shinjuku taken in the early years from 1968 to 1981, his first trip to India in 1982, and Shinjuku taken in the middle to late years from 1984 to 2003. Includes many unpublished photos.
In addition to interesting texts by himself, the book includes contributions by Daido Moriyama and Shuji Terayama.
